Monday Rain

Well it's Monday and the rain is back. This might sound like a bad thing, but it's not. Given the alternative of 29 and sunny or 51 and rainy, I'll take the rain. I was tired of the snow and ice and now it's all gone. Sure the rain is a pain, but when it is that cold my body just aches and it is too hard to motivate. The rain sucks, but at least it keeps it warm.

For the last two winters we have played with the idea of moving some place else. It's not that we don't like it here, but for two Californians these dark winters are tough to cope with. It's not the cold, or the rain, though these do wear on you. It is the short days. I don't know how people in the great white north do it.

At least if we lived in Arizona we could offset our energy consumption with solar power.
