Please theives, don't take this box.

CitiFinancial has decided to jump on the bandwagon and lose personal information of approximately 3.9 million customers. It continues to shcok me that this happens again and again. UPS "lost" the tapes? I've never had UPS or FedEx actually lose anything. It may be late, or damaged, but never lost. And they even said they had an "enhanced security system." What was that? I bet it was big sign on the side of the box that said: "WARNING: Personal Information (ie SSNs and Credit Card Info) Inside. Do Not Lose Or Steal. Please."

We went to Bucca de Beppo last weekend for
Mercedes's birthday. It was a lot of fun, and good to see old friends. It threw me off though when one of the groups there announced they were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary. Now don't get me wrong, I like Bucca de Beppo. It's a great place for birthdays, reunions, and other big groups of people. But a 50th wedding anniversary? Maybe it's just the hopeless romantic in me, but in 48 years I'd like to celebrate somewhere a little less... well, gaudy.

The hat is done! I think it is the prettiest thing I've made. It's hard to give it up, but I know my mom will appreciate more than I do.

Well, I'm also impressed--although it seems my comment is delayed.

It's very spiderweb-mets-snowflake like.
