B: Fastest and Most Furious


I made a neat chart today that points out how silly cost savings are for most people as an excuse to buy a new car. At10,000 miles per year with $2.50 gas you will only save about $400 a year if you go from 20 to 30 MPG. If you add $1.50 ($4.00 / gal) to gas prices you only add about $230.

Gas has to get one hell of a lot more expensive before it makes economic sense to replace your car if it's paid for....
