and the best part about all this hype about the hand recount is that it's not even the taxpayers money! the democratic party has to come up with $750,000 to hand over to the state of washington so the hand recount will be funded. only if gregoire wins do the 'taxpayers' have to pay. and in that case, shouldn't we all be glad that there was a hand recount so we can all be sure that the true voice of the people is heard? i just don't understand how the righties can justify stopping a hand recount.
