escalator temporarily stairs

Last night I made some divine potato leek soup. We had yummy salads, excellent bread, and said soup for dinner. We even had homemade chocolate cupcakes with strawberries and whip cream for dessert. I feel extremely sorry for anyone who was invited but chose not to join us. It is really a tragedy for them.

I heard on the radio this morning that some people are linking the pope’s death to Terry Schivo. They say that god killed the pope to punish us for killing that poor woman. I don’t even know where to start with that one.

On a serious note, I just found out that
Mitch Hedberg was found dead in a hotel room last Wednesday. No details have come out yet, but his family said he suffered a heart attack. He was 37. He was a truly funny, funny comedian.

I'm sorry you feel sad... I know we always regret it when we miss one of your wonderful meals. Thanks for the invite anyway. As hard as it is, I guess I have to get used to the idea of skipping social engagements for training, (I spent 2 hours on the trainer that night). I know it's no excuse, but those Expert girls are really fast and training, much to my dislike, is going to have to become a priority if I don't want to make a mockery of myself out there... Ah, if only there were like 10 more hours in the day.

This doesn’t really go with this blog entry, but I just got an email announcement that is having its "grand opening" on April 8th. Yowzer! Just wanted to share. :)

That's okay Merce - we weren't too sad. More soup for us! We probably made enough to feed a small country, but that's okay. I've still got some left for lunch today. Training for two hours is probably better than sitting around eating potato soup and bread.

And I can't wait for the crochet my crotch site to be back up! I was a little worried that it was completely dead when the last update was dated 2004, but have no fear! Crocheted crotches for all on Saturday!
