la la la la la la, la la la la laaaa...
I was informed by a co-worker at lunch today that Gargamel was after the smurfs so he could boil them and turn them into gold. How did I not remember that? Years and years of watching and I didn’t even remember why Gargamel was after them! I guess my 6-year-old mind chose to forget that part.
This site has some smurfy stuff, like the names of all the episodes. I particularly like “The Good, the Bad, and the Smurfy,” or “Poltersmurf.” Man, those were good times.
This all got me thinking about old cartoons – does anyone remember the Snorks? That was one of my favorites. 
And don't forget Fraggle Rock!

Did you know that the voice of Gargamel died last weekend?
I didn't know that. So much for a smurfy reunion...
I think they should bring back the Snorks and do a "where are they now" special.
How can I ever forget the snorks. Even "Family Guy" referenced them this week. You really should see snorks on a date. Snorktastic, man.
The Smurfs were smurf-tastic!!! But never knew about the boiling them into gold part...probably a good thing!
